On a Clear Day

On a Clear Day is a DIY multimedia experience by SCHRUMPF! Koistinen. Working with images and ideas from the original dance production, the artists have created a dance piece to read out loud, listen to and dance yourself. Text by Milla Koistinen and Daniella Strasfogel, illustrations by Laura Merz, design Ladislav Zajac. In addition to the book, there are downloadable MP3s with music by Paul Valikoski. These are presented in three versions: just the music, music with English instructions and music with German instructions. The MP3s lead the listener through dancing their own version of the piece. It centers around quietness and listening, movement and joy, openness, emptiness and imagination. All of that in a bilingual edition, German and English, for people of any age.
